i havent used it but a bunch of my friends have i have a copy on my harddrive so maybe i will try it today, or i will call my friends and find out <3

How does it teach exactly?
How indepth is it? Just basic stuff because I know that already.

This is the majority of the Pimsleur Japanese Lessons in LAME MP3 format.

The Pimsleur CDs are 3 sets of 30 each, 25 minute long audio lessons that are designed to be listened to one a day.  In theory this means you can become reasonably proficient in Japanese speaking in 90 days.  In practice it takes longer.

When you are done with all three lesson sets you are supposed to become conversationally adept in all the most common day to day topics.  There are also short audio bits in the full CDs that help cultural understanding, but the encoder of this skipped those.
