Fate/Sword Dance



Another Fate game~ This one I have managed to play. This one is a 2d fighter. Similar to that of Melty Blood. But not as good. Another game uploaded by request. ^^

That odd. It's the same file I used to install the game on my system. And I hit no problems..

nvm, got it taken care of....still can't install or play the game though.....WinRAR doesn't work, and the auto extracter just screws up on the mpg file all the time.

anyone have any idea where the auto extracter extracts the files to?  my computer was slow resulting in me extracting it multiple times and hence killing my hard drive space.

i did the samething extract the "Fate sword dance" file out of the winrar...

and run it after i extract from the iso...
when i extract the "Fate sword dance" from the iso it shows no error...

only when i run that "Fate sword dance" it still shows the same error T.T... is there anything wrong with my system ?
i'm still stuck at : fate_sd_ed.mpg as it fails and does not run at all... >.<

jeffng9, I have the same thing :/
CRC check error on fate_sd_ed.mpg

But you can extract the files with WinRAR :d (you have CRC error too, but it doesn't stop extracting and it DO exctarct the file anyway).
Then you can install it :d by running INSTALL.EXE

strange...
i redl the whole file but i still can't play it... the problem is still the same...

i'm using daemon tools and i even try alcohol 120% but i still can't play it... >.< can anyone help me ?

i did mount that iso file
after that i double click on the "Fate sword dance" and it run until this file: fate_sd_ed.mpg
then it stop running and show error...

this is the description written on the "Fate sword dance"
"WinSFX32M Self Extractor for Win32"

maybe i should restart my pc and retry?
or should i redl it?

you dont need to unzip the file, just mount the iso file on a virtual drive (alcohol 120%, daemon tools, etc), and then install

I downloaded this on P2P a while agoit annoyed me. Whenever I did a Noble Fantasm (e.g. Enuma Elish, Excalibur), the whole game would freeze while my drive went hyper then it would continue. Anyone else have this effect?

erm... i can't play this game...
i can even finish unzipping it...

it went auto zip and i can't even choose which location i wanna unzip it to...

and it shows error log on the file name fate_sd_ed.mpg...

am i the only one facing this problem ?

it says crc error all the time :E it didnt help when i extracted it with winrar.

You have Japanese regional settings I assume?

I don't see where the problem is because I managed to mount the ISO, extract and install just fine..

I think it need change Microsoft Window in Japanese  language version(not internet option one) in order to install/play this game.

I tried mounting and extracting from the self-extractor(failed).Then,I tried extracting the self-extractor into my HDD using winrar and start the self-extracting from there(failed).Lastly,I tried to extract by using WinRAR on the self-extractor.All I get this time is errors stating 'Unknown Method' for the files(like .ogg).I used up all methods I know,but still failed.Can someone bring some light to this problem?

My regional settings is set to Jap.Been that way for over a year.

i'm running everything in jap now on my com for quite sometime already so far no problem for all the games...
i can even play Fate/Stay Night... (original game...)

I had the same problem like most.  I was able to execute the game, but it crashes.  I actually finally got it to work, downloading an update patch from this site...
<http://wordpainter.net/fatesworddance/main.html>.  I used WinRAR to extract directly from the .ISO file---of course, there was that corrupted file mentioned in the first few comments.  Anyway, afterwards, everything worked fine.  Weird, but hey! It worked for me.
