iv got a question whats a SFV file? it was with my torrent and i think it has something to do with subs because when i play my video the subtitles arnt coming on i just downloaded VLC media player to play the file but yeah im stuck now can anyone help me out?

sfv is not a sub file.

As for subs not coming up, vlc's default is that soft subs are not turned on automatically.

Go to - video > subtitles track

This is assuming your downloaded video has softsubs.
