| The Infrequent Wonderer ![]() | warning! at 23:25 GMT a virus attempted to download itself into my computer. at the time i was on ths page http://www.datorrents.com/browse/32/...movies/page/2/ please be aware of this threat. im not too sure what it was as i was browsing a few of these titles when i had an alert. it might possibly have come from an advertisment, or the other most likely cause could be the torrent for Studio Ghibili films. i am also not too sure where i am suppost to post this, so if ths is in the wrong place, please forgive me and move it. i am just bringing it to your attention as i might not be the only one with this security breach. better to be safe than sorry. |

| Dreamer through Time ![]() | I'm not getting anything, but then I'm on lolifox with adblock on... One thing I can say is I've had some warnings when browsing with IE without http-block on, but not since I switched browsers... The log for http shows only blocked connections to EXTREME-NL but that's supposed to only have to do with the ads.... perhaps some bad ads got through?

| Administrator ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I believe we've had this complaint before due to AdBrite, DaT's ad provider. Last time there was one that was trying install an active x control, occasionally they seem to let a bad one through. There is a known hole in Flash, so I'd start using No-Script until Adobe patches it. |
