| Whatever happened to interactivity...?! The spirit of sharing has left? I am offering you free full movies - WHOLE series' and Next week would be FREE jap games You don't fancy a scripted, fully english version of Biko 3? seems no one wants any of my free anime ?! Shame ... I was even thinking of releasing every episode of Daiakuji made up to date, with jap and english audio, and a number of incorporated subs.

| Forum Goderator ![]() | Unfortunately, the forum/tracker/gallery was down for approximately a day because the server was moving datacenters, so no surprise nobody was able to read any of the new forum posts between the time you posted and now, much less post replies. I'd say Kai-Doh-Maru.

| .... yea.. I noticed that about half hour after I posted that message... As to the audio encodement or subtitle is variant and depends on a few things Generally I would say most of my content is Japanese audio with English subs... as is my preference... Though that does not mean that english audio tracks cannot be added to the DVD file... Looks like malice doll is winning so far... It is a great little FMV movie.... Before the final vote go's through Spoken @ KiraRin - Is there any particular type of encode you would prefer.. DVD - 9? AVI? MPEG? I can encode to any format I can make the DVD available up to Four Regions if required. I can add up to Four languages English - Japanese - Portuguese - French On very special requests fan subs can be written if required.

| No Life ![]() | Most of the rips here seem to have the Japanese track with English subs (which is what I prefer), but it seems that there are more people asking for dual audio rips recently. I'm a firm believer in h264 myself, but the encoding can be a ***** ![]() And just fyi, can you please not double post as this is against the forum rules. Thanks, H. |

| Dreamer through Time ![]() | As for regions... If there's a movie or something I want to watch but it has different region than my dvd-drive on my pc or I want to back-up something, then I just dvd decrypter/dvdfab to copy it to hard drive and remove regions/protections and dvd decrypter/dvdshrink to copy it back on disc(depends on which ones work best)...I do NOT recommend Nero for burning an iso-image, just a note... Thought of mentioning this, as if this was done prior to putting it up on torrent, it would save a lot of hassle for everyone else... I'm not an expert of this issue however, this is just something I've learned by trial-and-error... Generally though I prefer good encoded rips to actual images, because of the size and the fact that done well, there's not much difference to the original one... Edit; With that said, I'm not much of a friend of .avi, and hardsubs in general. Softsubs, mostly with containers like .ogm, .mkv, have a lot less impact on the visual quality. Though I understand that .avi is a very 'easy' solution, as it can be played with virtually anything... Sincerely, Blanchimont

| Regions are just a way to make things easier on the base user... not everyone does wish for the original file to be tampered with... These are original encodes after all... hence the large file size... There should be info provided on the NFO as to the location of the Sleeve and DVD art should you need them. Though speed wise I do prefer Matroska video files... far easier to upload The question simply asks whether the preference is for the file to be converted or left in it's original state as written by the manufacturer. I do not use Nero Burning Rom to write, or image my media, I use Ultra ISO and DVD Idle Pro... and occasionally Universal extractor for any compression / extraction needs. I use ultra edit to manually incorporate self written fan subs, in any soft sub format should that be requested specifically by a number of users. The offer to provide alternative versions of the files in seperate torrents gives you all a choice as to the nature and quality of the files you recieve. Also the double post was a mistake due to the problems with the site recently.... seorang pointed this out also .. Please accept my apologies... Thanks for your comments ... it is nice to see interest and valued opinions
