Any point of uploading?

downloaded otaku dream mix
left it uploading for half a day
didn't update my stats
checked the problems on this forum they said tracker is screwed
so theres really no point in my uploading if i dont get the ratio..might as well upload on boxtorrent or blackcat..

when is this gonna get sorted out?

Yep, the tracker is screwed and ratio doesnt work. Think of it as an opportunity to leech all you can, without having to worry about having a good ratio!

This is a problem I am sure they are working on.

Actually ratio tracking was stopped on purpose at least in part because of complaints by people when they got disconnected and lost gigabytes of uploading to their stats. According to the
Tracker upgrades! Finally! thread, they've come up with an improved and hopefully more robust stat tracking system. I am not aware of any plans to bring back bannings for low ratios. I am sure admins will advise if they decide to bring the practice back.
Since Delta is now able to devote more time to the tracker, I suspect updates will progress quicker than they have in the past. If you have suggestions for improvement share them in the thread I linked to above.

well iam capped so cant leech but thks for the suggestion
also why cant u see the amount of seeders/leechers when u go through the torrent pages? this doesnt make sense :/

oh well i hope u guys make a good private torrent like black-cat games

seeder/leecher stats actually broke. I am not sure of details why they broke, but I imagine it will be one of the things that get fixed.

I don't know if DaT will become private. Past statements by our admins seem to give the impression (at least for me) of a desire to keep DaT open.
