can i use bitcomet?

it seems there is no mentioning of bitcomet being a banned client in this forum, so i can use it right?

i'm not able to foward my ports in utorrent, i know this will seriously hamper my speed, with bitcomet everything seems fine, so can i use bitcomet or not?

thanks for helping.

utorrent has less memory usage so prefer utorrent and you can manually forward ports anyway even if the software dosen't have the feature.

I assume by forward your ports you mean, via universal plug and play on your router. I believe uTorrent supports upnp as there is a support topic on their forums.
forum.utorrent.com / UPnP in 1.6 not working for you? Post here

option->preferences->connection and check the box for upnp port mapping.

Personally, I think upnp is a liability. I've also read that there a little bit of a slow down when using it, but I've never put it to the test.

Why you would want to use Bitcomet is beyond me, since Bittornado has banned that client from accessing any user who uses Bittornado because it Exploits its Superseeding function at the expense of other users who are legitimately downloading. Bittornado is the best client I've ever used (And I've used all the ones available on the Windows and Linux platforms)

There are better clients out there.
