Question Nocturnal Illusion - Not enough space on hard drive to install.

I've got a noob help request... I've extracted nocturnal illusions to my c: drive which has 19 Gigs of space remaining but when I attempt to execute the setup file I recieve "Not enough space on hard drive to install". In the setup, muge, and muge31 file properties I've set the windows compatability to win 95 but still recieve the disk space error message when attempting to run the setup file. Any advice would be apreciated.

Thanks

For some reason the installation program doesn't like to install on the C:\ drive, if you change it to any other hard drive letter it seems to work fine. That's been my experience anyway and I am not really sure why.

Thanks for the info I'll have to find a partition manager to add a drive to my laptop and try your work around out.

Take it easy

You can try GParted Live CD I believe it will do non-destructive partitioning. Still I recommend you backup anything you want to keep just in case, it would be a shame to lose your data for a game.

You could probably install the game to a flash drive, the files the install creates aren't very big. It would certainly be safer than messing with partitions. You just have to the flash drive plugged when you wanted to play. Just remember after you install it, it still makes use of install files so you can't delete the folder you extract the RAR archive to or the game will stop working.
