Please remove confirmation email requirement for tracker

We are not able to modify or make changes to our email. I am completely dropping my email on it and instead of making another useless account on the tracker I would like the confirmation requirement to be dropped for the tracker UNTIL it's fixed. I have been needing to change my email and get rid of crappy hotmail for months now but it's still broken

The tracker email is only for email notices and such so please drop the verification requirement for that email so I can still get my email notices for the tracker. Otherwise I'm just going to have to create a new account on it and that is just more useless data in the database as well as I have to start over with all new stats. Because I am not keeping Hotmail crap just for a single tracker site when I have changed my email on every other site. And yes I have requested in the channel and was informed it basically too much work to change it directly in the database manually.

WHY is this a request so hard to fill? I WANT TO DUMP MY DAMN HOTMAIL ACCOUNT! And because I can't get updates to my new email address I am still stuck with this HORRIBLE hotmail account

I have already tried IRC and they said they can't fix it. And NOBODY will fix the email confirmation.. So WHY can't you simply drop the email confirmation for tracker? It's been months over half a year now and still same issue

So make a new account if you need it to be the new email.

As long as you don't want us to bring anything from the old account to the new account.

The email confirmation is there to prevent Bots from signing up accounts on the server. Just something to make sure that you're human.

Its also a way to make sure that your email is infact valid as well.

If you want to dump your hotmail account, I'll be more then willing to give you a Gmail invite.

I have a gmail. But I am not able to change my email on the tracker to my new animemusicvideos email that I use now for all my anime sites.

Problem with creating a new account unless you can delete my old one on the tracker is that I would than forget my login name since I use the same nick for all my tracker registrations. I use the same name on all anime trackers and forums, molitar, which makes it nice and simple to remember.

I don't mind if you can even delete it.. Seems my old account hasn't worked at all on the tracker now for months. My download and upload has not changed in months. I can logon.. logoff.. doesn't matter. I could leech, which I do not do on this tracker, and nobody would know. I have even done a torrent of nearly a gig of translated doujins and seeded it more than 5 times over and not gotten credit. So if your able to delete the old account I will recreate myself a new molitar account as the ratios haven't changed in months now I don't mind losing my old data at all.

I think there is a "delete account" option on the login screen for the tracker. I've never tried it so I am not sure how well it works.
If doesn't work a member of the tracker staff could deleted it, assuming there isn't a policy against doing so.

I asked and we can delete your tracker account for you if you want. Just be aware that you'll loss everything under that account and any torrents you had uploaded would become orphaned. If you don't register right away it is possible for someone else to register the name. Let me know cause I don't want to delete it without your explicit authorization to do so.

prh99, Yes please delete it on the tracker. I just officially cancelled my premium account with hotmail and it will soon be totally deactivated
