Tsukihime game install problem

When I'm at the 'destination folder' part of the installation, an error comes (which i can't read because it is japanese) and it aborts the installation. can anybody help? thx

There are currently three torrents for Tsukihime game, which one did you download? Also if you could post a screen shot of the error, as it might provide some clues.

I think I see part of the problem, you need to enable east asian language support. If nothing else we can a rough translation.

i dont have the cd, can i still install? just askin, because im still not home... maybe i would be in 3-4 days

Probably not, when I installed it required the CD. I believe the east asian language is the cause of the errors, but not entirely certain.

Mm, I've installed this game without the need of the East Asian language support for XP...

The first one is the Select Directory, second I think it was "does not exist, create this folder?"... The third message was simply telling you that the file was large... from what I can read from my installer... and the fourth one I don't really know. I think there should be 5 messages in total that show up, asking things like "should we create a desktop icon" and whatnot.

Uh... an alternate method that I recommend which is easier-- is to simply copy the folder named "tsukihime" (should have 5 files I think...) wherever you want to and rename the folder if you want to. Um, this is for the Japanese version, nevertheless-- and assuming you don't read Japanese... it wouldn't be of much use. (Don't worry, I don't read Japanese well either. Haha...)

I think that if you're going to use Revolve's translation patch you don't even need to install. The other installer only asks you for the arc.sar file found in the CD or mounted image... I installed both just in case anyways.

Where and how do I install the revolver's translation patch? If it's not in the tsukihime download i have yet, can you give me the link? thx

I looked at the torrent you linked in previous posts, and I'm pretty sure its a japanese version, without a patch, especially since the torrent comments say its in japanese.

Where to find this translation patch, I have no idea.
