| Well, since this issue has not been updated or clarified, let me just observe that the fact that removing/zeroing the seed/leecher values from various views (account summary, and torrent detail), has just nixxed pretty much any enthusiasm for posting anything new or attempting to keep my old (dozen & a half or so) torrents seeded since this alteration. It's not DATorrent's fault per se but the alteration makes it nearly impossible to monitor the state of each torrent's ongoing health pertaining to seeds, (unless I'm missing something blatantly obvious?) This change now forces me to connect to each and every torrent I have posted (or downloaded) in order to determine just what the state of the torrent is at that time. (No, I don't and won't use Azureus which would auto-scrape to check and determine the state of the torrents, for various reasons). This is not really a demand to fix it, but I have to state the fact that with this change, the increased effort of maintaining my old torrents is too great for me to consider adding additional torrents to maintain, and has basically led me to abandon any attempts to regularly maintain my old torrents until such time as a method for me to more easily check the health of the torrents is presented. | |

| Hey, I'm new here. I've seeded about 5 to 6GB and downloaded 0kB so far, yet my upload amount has not updated in my profile. DHT and Peer exchange are off; I made sure of that after about 2gb of seeding, and the rest still hasn't updated. I'm not pissed or anything; I know the tracker is having some issues and I'm cool with waiting for it to get fixed, but is it safe to download, or will I get banned from the tracker for downloading? I'm fine with waiting if the case is that I will get banned for downloading, though. I've filled my harddrives' capacities as it is, so I don't plan on doing anything but seeding for a month or two anyways. It'd just be nice if it counted for something! | i posted on another thread before i saw this =p, can the mods help me delete that thread? back on topic hi everyone, i read on the front page that you are required to register with the tracker so it can keep track of how much you have uploaded and downloaded. But the problems is, where and how do i register myself to the tracker and get my stats updated? Also i started downloading before i registered to the site and forum....does that make a difference to your stats? thanks for the help guys. | |

Stats are no longer tracked, so the download and upload information won't be updated in your account. When ratios were tracked anything you downloaded and uploaded prior to registering didn't count toward the stats in your account. It was lost every time you stopped a torrent or otherwise disconnected from a torrent. | |
