Problem Regarding Amount Uploaded and Downloaded - Page 2

But i'm not downloading or uploading this ...gilgamesh or smth... how can it be ?

And at the same time i have downloaded far more then 3 megabytes ) It must be about 500.

It seems like lately (at least for me) that tracker has been timing out a lot for extended periods of time and sometimes at random. Some of my torrents were lacking seeds so I seeded them anyways but I know I lost about 100GB of stuff I uploaded during the last few days. This isn't really a big deal to me because I knew that would happen when I saw the tracker timing out and decided to seed anyways plus my ratio is already soo high. jjs that may be the issue you ran into the other day. Did you notice the tracker was timing out in you BT client during scrapes?

I didn't notice timing out, although I may have been guilty of closing program without stopping torrents a few times. However, my values have not changed for awhile, and I know for a few times I did stop torrents before shutting client down.

Well if the tracker does happen to time out when you stop the torrent nothing will be recorded.

I'm just about at the point where I'm giving it up. I went from picotorrent to Azureus, due to being constantly rejected by the DA trackers, even when logged in. I've now gone from Azureus to BitComet due to numerous application crashes, timeouts, and the resulting absurd numbers (DA shows me at being at 50% when my last good numbers were much higher). Now, BitComet is a bit more stable, uploads and download rates are now setup to be virtually identical (thus taking a huge hit in download, as my proxy is on ADSL), I'm apparently logged in and the tracker is giving me clients, but now no stats are being recorded (it shows me as not downloading anything or uploading anything), despite my intentionally seeding six DA torrents. (Yes, DHT is disabled.)

It's a great idea to try to get people to keep seeding and sharing by enforcing ratios, but these software builds aren't up to snuff to deal with the variety of configuration issues that many of us have to work with. I figure that I'll be banned in a week or so and that will be it for this silly notion of trying to use a tracker that enforces ratios. Any last-ditch tries for these last few days?

Well, you can try to upload 100 MB first..
But make sure torrents only had DA tracker, DHT disable ( as you had done )

After seeding 100 MB, check it first your account , are the tracker show the correct amount as your bitclient show ?
Then stop all the torrents, again check your account again..
There should not be any problem more..

I specially selected those six torrents because they only have DA trackers.

My current BitComet statistics show that I've uploaded ~2,253.31 megs over about 10 hours or so, with multiple stops and starts. The torrents are not even showing up in my stats, let alone any upload/download numbers from them.

[edit] Okay... is forcing the same upload/download rate part of the problem? I disabled it and a few downloading files showed up (but no stats). Seeded files are still not showing up at all... and I uploaded over 100 megs since my last full stop/start. I'll play with this some more, but it still looks bad.

[edit 2] I've had it for right now. Seeded files are now showing up, but no stats. I'm uploading at about 32KB/s - 42KB/s, but my stats show nothing. I'll see if anything changes in a few hours. I'm peeved at the moment.

After you stop, you can start right a way.. if you do so, you stat wont be recorded..
How bout you restart your bitclient first.. then starting to upload again..
After upload certain amount of file, check account or you also can check it from the torrents itself ( by clicking show full list then find your username)

What do you mean by is

If you are using BitTornado I sugjest going to advanced and doing manuel announce before closing the torrent. I relised this AFTER uploading 5gb though : /
