How exactly do ya upload a torrent

I have creatted a torrent file (***.torrent) and have everything ok on my side. My torrent client even see that all files are downloaded and such. So when i try and upload the file in the upload section using the browse button (with full file path) on the 'Torrent File' line and fill the discription and category, it says error: No Files.

So what am I doing wrong exactly?

I dont seem to have that kind of problem before. but here's what i always do/remember when uploading torrents.

1.) Upload the .torrent file first before seeding.

2.) make sure to use the http://tracker.datorrents.com:6969/announce.php as the announce url.

3.) make sure that .torrent file will accept peers from the tracker only.

4.) set your client to accept peers from the tracker only as well.

5.) Fill in everything in the Upload field: Torrent file, Torrent name, Description, Type.

with those things, i never fail or get an error in uploading.

note: make sure you use the browse on the Torrent file field, not the NFO File Field

If that fails, make sure you haven't moved the files, if you made the torrents using the client, it may not work, it didn't for me (I was using uTorrent).

An alternative is MakeTorrent which creates the torrent for you.

Ok

I have been using MakeTorrent 1.2 to make the torrent.

I have put in the tracker http://tracker.datorrents.com:6969/announce.php when creating the torrent.

I am using Bit Tornado version of client.

The client shows the proper announce url.

Client not running when try to upload torrent.

I have filled out all lines except for NFO line.

All files and directories are in place and nothing is moved.

And yet still no nothing.

I try and submit but page goes through 'Loading...' with 'Sending request to www......' then after about 30 sec, says done but nothing happens. Same page, no errors.

If I am doing some thing wrong still.... (Garrr)

Also, have used diffrent browsers and get a 'Cannot find server' and 'Cannot display page' messgae.

But thank you for your help!

I keep on doing what I am supose to be doing.

Made several .torrents and tried to upload them all but seems like im getting a:

'Cannot find server error'
When using I.E.

And nothing happens when I run with Netscape.
It just says loading, connecting to, and then says done. But it still is the form page to upload the .torrent.

Tis making me brain hurt, tis is.

Garrrr.
