Upload stat probs (again)

My overall ratio has fallen below 1:1 so I decided to seed overnight to get things back up to (somewhat) where they should be.

Well none of what I seeded overnight seems to have counted in the stats.

Yes, I did disable DHT and Peer Exchange.
Yes, I did remove other trackers and just used DA.
Yes, I did stop the torrent manually.

I took a screenie to show I was seeding and that X amount was uploaded - see attached.
It also shows my stats - which didnt change after the overnight seeding...

I was originally thinking that another night of seeding and I would be back up to square - but if it's not counting then ...??????

well.. after you stop the torrents, are you quit your bitclient?
You must not quit the bitclient..
DA tracker doesnt seen to be down now..

How bout if try to upload 100 Mb, if the stat still doesnt change..

No I hadn't disconnected the client (utorrent), I just stopped seeding and went leeching some anime episodes.

As per directions... I seeded another 100+mb and then stopped the torrent - this time the stats updated with the 100+mb.

Looks like the 900+mb went to the never-never.....

I'll seed overnight again and see what happens...

ok if i get it rigth if it doesnt count upload for you guys it means doesnt count for DL maybe so is a event match you dl what you uploaded and you quit stats doesnt update if you have a decent ratio it wont be bad maybe?

It catches all downloads, and updates that immediately - the trouble is the uploading.

Well I seeded overnight again (over 800mb uploaded) and again no stats increase when I stopped it, so I re-seeded a smaller amount (66mb) and it updated the stats. Seems to be if I leave it on for ages (as in overnight) I'm getting no return. So no more overnight seeding from me.....

Have u make sure the DHT and Delete all tracker except DA ?

Your case is bit different.. you said seed for a while, the stat was increased. but for overnight , the stat didnt change..

Maybe you shouldnt seed, when you are sleeping ..

Take a look at this guide that a TPG (the same ISP as you) user made.

"TPG makes this more difficult because they run a transparent proxy which sometimes prevents the BitTorrent tracker from successfully detecting what your IP address is, and therefore other clients can sometimes be trying to connect to the wrong IP (usually TPG's proxy IP) making you unconnectable."

It seems like this guy is saying you have to setup a dynamic DNS to be connectable. Try doing what his guide says and hopefully that will fix your problem.

Note: I think the IP override has now been moved under Client in newer revisions of Azureus (not Server) since that guide was written.
