Error : Tracker return Code 403

I am new here. I've just registered. I try to download some Manga via BitComet. But I've got the message "Error: Tracker return Code 403, Stop! : in Tracker http://tracker.datorrents.com:6969/annouce.php"
I go to this web and got another message " d14:failure reason11:missing keye "
Could someone help me to solve this problem?

A 403 error = forbidden so maybe you got banned?
Also are you sure the tracker is correct? It should be http://tracker.datorrents.com:6969/announce.php yet you wrote http://tracker.datorrents.com:6969/annouce.php

The d14:failure reason11:missing keye message seem to just be what the announce page says. For the tracker main page go to www.datorrents.com

I don't see your IP in the ban list. Looks like improperly encoded (BT protocol) information was the cause.

Sorry , it was "http://tracker.datorrents.com:6969/announce.p hp" . I've mistyped. Could you give me some advice in order that I am able to download from Bitcomet? I've tried with another Bitclient, It didn't work too. Or maybe I really got banned ? But I've just register and immediatly got banned ? Please , I really want some advice. Thanks very much .

As before I was unable to find your IP in the ban list. If you were banned you'd get a message about having a forbidden IP and saying you've been banned and the reason for the ban. Are you behind a router? If you have Windows XP, is the windows firewall enabled? Have you tried downloading a different torrent to confirm it just a problem with the torrent?

It looks like you are seeding from your University? University's usually have massive firewalls and they could have blocked you for high usage or something. Try a BT port (something in the 45000-65355 range), get a client (uTorrent or Azureus) that supports encryption and (turn it on) and also try turning on lazy-bitfield. If you still get that error you will have to look into other means like using a proxy or something to bypass the uni firewall.

Thanks very much for all your advice but Sorry to disturb you again. I can download with my bitclient from another Tracker. But From your Tracker I 've got the same Message Error 403. I've try another torrent, but It doesn't work as well. I think, it isn't due to my firewall or the torrent file. Would you have another advice ?

I'm really not sure then... A 403/forbidden error makes me think that maybe you were banned but I guess prh99 already checked that. You said that you already tried another bittorrent client so I guess its not that either. But you are only one that is having this problem so it would seem that is has to be something on your end.

Also since you first posted it seems your uploaded amount has gone up from ~3GB to ~6GB? If its not working for you how do you have anything in your stats at all? What are you seeding?

I really don't know how I get this Stat. I've just noticed it too. Now I'm downloading file from another Tracker and seeding them. Could it be the reason,that i 've got the Stats?

Stats are only recorded for torrents using the datorrents tracker. Our torrents sometimes get uploaded to other places though if thats what you mean. Right now you are seeding 2 torrents and leeching 1 torrent which are using the datorrents tracker and your stats seem to be getting recorded for those torrents. When you manually stop the torrent (not exit or remove) your ratio should update.

Are you still getting the 403 error?
