OK, what is wrong with the tracker?

I registered yesterday, I AM connectable, not behind a router, my 2 torrents I'm seeding show the correct ammount that I've seeded in each session, yet my overall stats suck and are wrong!!

Okkkkkkk, let me calm down a sec....

Ok, I downloaded 2 hentai games, 1 is already fully seeded to over 1.0 ratio, the other is at .82 and still seeding. Under the peers for those torrents, my name shows up, not an IP address, so I know I'm signed in correctly. Under the one torrent, I have (in this seeding session) over 500 MB, and also in the second as well. I also seeded nearly 500 MB YESTERDAY. Now my overall stats are showing 1.6 GB downed and 450 MB upped, leaving me at a miserable 0.26. Yet right below that, it shows the correct amount for this session in the "Toorents I'm Seeding" area......

What gives???

Sometimes it takes a while for the tracker to update, I have had that problem too, I am a bit unsure as it may be another problem, i'll leave this thread open incase another staffer has input about this problem.

The crazy thing is that it IS updating my downloaded stats JUST fine, just not my uploaded stats. And my uploaded stats has has been stuck at 426 MB or whatever for over 7 hours.....

I'm just trying to be a good BTer, but this is hard to swallow.....

Your stats won't update until you stop the torrents and you have to actually stop them rather than just closing the program or else it won't update properly. Also make sure scraping is enabled and you are not using DHT or PE.

Now all I'll have to do is pray my computer doesn't do a reboot in the middle of seeding at night (which it has, unfortunately.)

The tracker records/credits the stats at one of two times. When you manually stop your torrent session (no, closing your client without stopping the tracker does not count), or when you've finished downloading and change from a leecher to seeder.

That is a serious issue. I live in Central Florida with a power company that is totally unreliable. I can't even afford a new UPS because of so many outages it wears out the batteries too fast so I just have it attached for good protection. So this issue where if you don't stop a torrent properly and it not updating is a serious issue. No wonder my ratio is only .95 when I have seeded so much every download I have done I have done at least 125% seeding on.

Something needs resolved with the tracker when it detects a disconnect. Power glitches computer reboots and I lose all my upload credits yet it sure doesn't seem to lose download credits. It's going to be totally nuts if I have to stop my torrent every half hour or so just to make sure I get credit especially when I like to seed at night at almost max upload at 90kb to help out. I will have to stop helping out at night because I am asleep and can't manually stop it to make sure I get credit that I should be getting. With IP Telephony service I can only afford to seed fast for others at night when it does not intefere with the telephone service.
