Datorrents Forum Website Timing Out?!?

Datorrents forum website keeps timing out alot and it takes forever to load, i've tryed IE 6.0 SP 2 and Firefox 1.5.0.4, and they both do the axact same thing, by the way this is the only website which this happens. I'm using a Cable Modem, 10 MB transfer rate.

it could probably be your router/proxy setting...cause i dont remember having a time out yesterday...or not even once before...the only problems im having is that the tracker site is sometimes down...but not the forums...how bout now? are you still having the same problems?

I guess it happens because there is a massive amount of people online so I guess the website needs more bandwith?!?, but right now is ok, sometimes is worse than others.

if your letting your torrents go hawg wild and have no limit on them, they will suck your connection "dry", so to find out where to set them. do a speed test like at dslreports.com, and then set the max to be 10-15 k/s less then you test result. so if you max is 60k/s set the torrents to 45-50k/s upload.

Your using http://tracker.datorrents.com:6969/forums as the url for the forums

Try http://www.datorrents.com/forums or http://forums.datorrents.com instead, never had any issues with the forums not loading, but since u'r connecting to the tracker on port 6969 that is most likley whats causing you problems. There is no need to browse the site on 6969 at all. Just goto http://www.datorents.com and browse normally.
