Post torrent help

After i downloaded a torrent what do i do after that because i wanna put it on youtube

Dude, this is not chat. You can't expect people to reply within a few minutes, so don't bump the thread after just a few minutes.

I've no idea what you're downloading, so I'll just take a guess.

Do you have a torrent client? For example, Azureus, uTorrents, BitTornado, BitComet, etc. After you've downloaded the torrent file, you need a client to run the torrent, then download it to your pc.

well when i use bittorrent it says on a bar thing its says it starting to download but its not really doing anything

b) You are going to have to be more specific. It is pretty hard to help when you are being that vague. For starters what client are you using?

I take it that you mean the original client. (>_>;) Haven't used that PoS in years. OK, Are you behind a firewall and what port/port range is your client using?

Also, I recommend just getting uTorrent, a lot easier to use and probably smaller and better equiped than the original client. And, stop double posting before you get in trouble with the mods.

Forward your ports if youre behind a router.

Also, turn off any firewalls.

You only forward ports if you are behind a router.
