| Another Tracker Problem Im wondering if anyone having the same problem now: Tracker site logged in, it says my uploaded is 22.79GB Uploading...uploading...roughly around 100mb Click stop button on my Bitcomet client Refresh DAtorrent's webpage It says, Uploaded: 22.79GB Im trying to pull my ratio up before I get into trouble, but this isnt helping -.- p.s. I removed all the other trackers, off DHT, off peer exchange, so everything should only be going through the tracker. | |

| Broadband Junkie | If the tracker is having trouble and you are timing out some of the time, you will lose everything you uploaded unless you are extremely luckly and you just happened to be able to connect when you stop the torrent. There are also times when the tracker is refreshing its peer lists and it shows 0 seeds and 0 peers (that really shouldn't happen, its a known issue) on every torrent until it finishes, that would also be a bad time to stop your torrent. Also make sure you have DHT and PeerExchange turned off in your client. When the tracker isn't having timeout issues your ratio should update just fine. The only time I have trouble is when the tracker is having noticable trouble. I know with Azureus (not sure about other clients) that if the tracker goes down it will save you upload/download stats you accumulate until it is able to connect again and then sends them without you losing anything.

| Broadband Junkie | I'll go through the settings by section. If you haven't already download the lvllord tcpip fix and set it to like 500+ max half-open connections. Mode: Set to Advanced if its not already _________________________________________________ Connection: Make set your TCP and UDP listen port between 40000-65000 (using the same port for both is fine) Uncheck everything except "From a tracker" from Peer Sources. Leave everything checked in Networks. Connection>>>Advanced Network Settings: Set the Max Simultaneous outbound connection attempts to 25 Connection>>>Transport Encryption Check every box and make sure RC4 is selected from the drop down menu. _________________________________________________ Transfer: Set the "KB/s global max upload speed" to ~75-85% of your max upload so if its 40KB/s set it to between 30KB/s and 34KB/s. _________________________________________________ Files>>>Performance Options: Check "Enable disk cache", I usually set the size to 32MB. Check "Perform read-aheads to reduce disk reads when uploading" _________________________________________________ I would recommend you download the following plugins (Plugins Installation Wizard): Advanced Statistics Azureus Monitoring Plugin CountryLocator Extra seeding Columns Multi-Port Trackers Progress Bar If you are open to using the beta builds then download AZCVSUpdater as well (I personally always use the latest beta build). If you are going through a router enable UPnP on the router and make sure the plugin is turned on in Azureus. _________________________________________________ Queue: Set Max Simultaneous and Max Active to 0 which is unlimited. _________________________________________________ Anything I haven't mentioned otherwise just keep at defaults. That feature I was talking about is just something built into Azureus and it's automatic, just make sure you wait until the tracker is functional again to stop the torrent (it has saved me a couple times).
