does anyone know wat are the requirements to play counter strike source?

System Requirements

Minimum:
1.2 GHz Processor, 256MB RAM, DirectX 7 level graphics card, Windows 2000/XP/ME/98, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

Recommended:
2.4 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX 9 level graphics card, Windows 2000/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

This is for all Valve games that uses the Source Engine

lies, my specs go past the recommended and my framerate sucks ***.

well, it might be my vidcard though. i was reading its quite a shitty model of ATI

I got that info from valve's website. And I checked everygame, all that uses the Source engine shows the same requirements. Probably the DirectX 7 required must be a 64mb or greater display card.

but my vid card along with othe rMOBILITYs can't do the uh, anti-aliasing or something. has to do with the water effects

it blows up when it tries to render that

I have a ATI RADION 9600 XT and the game runs very whel

but i can only play it with bots cuz i dont have high speed. lol

Well, yes, but my ping on a US server would be too huge to even bother trying. What ping do you get on Australian or New Zealand servers?
