Half-Life 2 - nice game

Well, as you know, the HL2 series has released its sequel. Halflife 2:Episode One. So tell me what you know about the game.

I like the game. but i dont like the source engine. well, for some reason, the source engine makes the game look better but you must need a very high spec so that the game will run smoothly. and since the HL engine was out dated, i wish Sierra would have used other technology than Source. but i think it still turned out fine. At least the Steam network system is useful.

right now, i am not playing the Episode one. im on it but didnt have the time to continue. i'll probably continue later.

it's a good game! 9.5/10 for me = -0.5 cause of the resource hog.

Oh dude I could not disagree more, the itself engine is amazing but the Steam network pisses me off (be glad you did not suffer through hours of waiting for it to work so I could have their permission to install the game I spend $60 on). PC games have always needed higher specs each year, think of it as a on going competition as to who can affort to buy a up-to-date gaming pc before it becomes obsolete in 14 months, they are by far the most powerful and expensive machines in the videogameing world thus why each of my video cards alone cost me me more then my whole Xbox 360 did. It is just the way things are, I mean look at Doom 3, at it's release it was what you measured your videocard's worth with, now it is only above average when compared to F.E.A.R (which in a couple months will be outshined by some new game).

I played it and finished it in one single day.

The gameplay was fun (addictive) and the interactivity was too. but the game was too short for the price. i got about 5 hours. The rest is amazing.

That is all i have to say.
