| Cynical Bastard | You might want to check to see if your computer can play it first before you shell out your money for the game. my computer barely passes the minimum reqirements Minimum Requirements (Recommended) 1.8 ghz (2.4 ghz for vista) proc 1 gig ram (2 gigs for vista) (3 gigs is recommended) Windows XP (Vista is recommended, since this is a DirectX 10 game) 128mb Video card (Get this, for the recommended requirements, they want a 768mb video card. Utter Bull ****) Compare your computer to see if you pass: System Requirements Lab My results: ![]() Last edited by aceman67 : 10-30-2007 at 09:21 PM. |

| Ultimate Moé | This sounds like complete B.S. but there's a slight hunch in me that says otherwise (Need For Speed: Pro Street has some pretty high minimum requirements for CPU speed). But I was able to run the demo just fine with my AMD Athlon 64 3800+ @2.41 ghz and on-board GeForce 6150LE (64 MB) when comparing it to the bare minimum requirements. |

| Cynical Bastard | Your card isn't 64mb, the Geforce 6 series start at 128. I have a 6100 for my integrated graphics, and its 256mb of dedicated memory (no ram sharing). (Although I have a GeForce 8500GT, which oddly enough, draws on the 6100's memory for its own graphics, bringing me to 512...) And a thing about AMD chips, is that they are more efficient then Intel Chips (With the exception of the new Core Duo's), simply because they do more calculations per system rotation, so they have a higher performance rating. For example, I have a AMD Athlon 64 3200+, which is a 2.01 ghz proc, but it's performance is closer to a 3.20 ghz Intel chip. Last edited by aceman67 : 11-01-2007 at 01:51 AM. |

| Ultimate Moé | ^ I remembered when I ran that analysis utility and it said that I had 256MB (shared) even though on the boot screen it said there was 64MB shared. Anywho, I loaded up the game last night and played around a little bit. It works like a charm in max detail with my new ATI Radeon X1650 Pro. Then again, I did some Catalyst tweaking and left anti-aliasing and triple-buffering disabled since the game looks fine to me without those options. |
