| Beginner | Water Trade Manga So far I have found only three manga series chronicling those hard working girls (and boys) who made the lives of those overworked salarymen a little more bearable. They are: 1: Club 9 (Miss Haruo in Japan) (Makoto Kobayashi) 2: Toritsu Mizushou: The School of Water Business (Shinobu Inokuma) 3: Jou Ou (Girl King) (Ryou Kurashima and Nao Kurebayashi) Only the first has been officially translated, and Dark Horse finked out on the last collected volume of Club 9, though admittedly they did finish the series in the now-defunct Super Manga Blast. Surely one of you pure-hearted students of the culture of Nihon has come across more manga centered on hostess clubs, soaplands, cabarets, pink salons, delivery health... Share! The Old Gringo |
