Haha. If Oh Great's art (he who does Tenjou Tenge and Air Gear) is going to be your standard for acceptable graphics, you're not going to find much manga that you'll like. Its why Oh Great's art stands out.

Yes.

Oh Great's manga is fairly unique because of its style and detail, even from his hentai-drawing days.

Using Tenjou Tenge as the minimum standard for acceptable graphics (since you say all others have poor graphics or look like they were done in the mid-90s) will very much limit your search. Its like expecting to find a ferrari engine in all cars. You're not going to, not at those standards.

Can't help but agree with you. Berserk often layed heavily on the blood-stained-war aspect, but man were the actions scenes fantastic.

O ok, lol cuz i dident get the "O Great Art" thing that he said so yea it got me confused.
whell one piece isent that hight and i find it good naruto and bleach are new so its normal tenjou tenge the graphiques are good but in the middle it starts to have @$$ storie line ( fight to the death in a hight school to controle some clubs) but i aint that hard for graphiques tenjou teng was the pretty hight but i got ta say minimal for me its like DBZ i just hate the graphique like beserker i dont know what the storie line so i cant say it sucks im sure some people find it very cool

I suggest Rurouni Kenshin (also known as "Wandering Samurai" or "Samerai X", I think). It's a pretty popular manga (with a total of 28 Volumes) that has been made into anime a few years ago. The story takes place in Japan during the Meiji Era and is about a swordsman named Kenshin, who ironically swore never to kill anyone again. The story's quite interesting; there are plenty of sword fights and the artwork is beautiful. If you like swords and martial arts, and are interested in Japan's culture/history, I highly recommend it!

from my opinion, good manga for sword type are samurai kyo deeper, bleach, samurai 7, mars, dragon quest and fullmental achiestment.

for handed combat i can recommend kotara judo, yuyu haskusho, hunter x hunter, son of dragon, d-gray man, get backer and vagabond.

highly recommended manga are kyo samurai deeper, son of dragon, mars and get backer.
