what is the greatest manga you EVA read - Page 2

I don't read much manga, but Case Closed (aka Detective Conan) has been the best one I have ever laid my hand on.

i must say that i have a few favorites, and read many different mangas over the last few years, and yet nothin has givin me quite the same feel of "awe" as tenjo tenge... between the art, characters, and priciples/theologies within the story (which is kinda funny, cause when you sum it up, it sounds like it should only be decent at best.. and yet i LOVE THIS STORY) id say its almost too good to be true lol.

Lagoon Engine Einsatz first and foremost, Dogby Walks Alone, Hellsing, Fullmetal Alchemist, Rahxephon, Gunslinger Girl, xxxHOLiC; there are too many :P

By and large, most mainstream mangas are bad, but I really liked Hellsing; kicks the crap out of the anime lol. The Fullmetal manga beats the snot out of its anime counterpart too. I just wish there was more of Lagoon Engine Einsatz, which is probably the prettiest manga I've ever seen.

the greatest manga i've read would have to be King of Hell, it's got comedy, action, and only a little bit of romance, which is good, some anime/manga focus to much on romance.

The best Manga for me would have to be BERSERK. I've read alot of mangas but this one is the best. I don't think there is any manga out there that has a more beautiful artwork, layout or detailed as this one. As for the story, it's integrity and character motivations is beyond any manga I've read, you simply won't find a more mature manga out there. Simply put if you're going to read 1 manga in the whole of you're lifetime then it has to be BERSERK.

A Word of warning: This manga contains extreme violence, lots of blood and dismemberment. It also has some sex scenes, child abuse/rape and other mature themes, that may not sit well with some of you, but it is done contextually and not contrived, so give it a chance.
