| Beginner  | Joh-Oh: Girl King (An Ecchi Manga) This manga series running in Business Jump has gone to 10 volumes so far. It's a soap opera revolving around Aya, a college student who becomes a hostess to pay off her father's debts. There is no anime version, but there has been a live-action series. I've made up a small site which should point you toward the official site, which has excerpts from each volume published so far. It's in Japanese, of course! I've been working on a translation, but I haven't done much yet. Anyone out there with better Japanese interested in doing a scanlation? Unlike the other water-trade story I follow, School of Water Business, this series is written and drawn by women. (I've scanlated one SOWB arc and put up a torrent; others are available at Tama-Chan Scans) |
