How odd

Hey hey,

This may sound silly, just a question...

I can access everything fine... It's just....

When I visit DaTorrents uploader etc.... you can search the memberlist...

When I browsed for myself and brought up my user details - it shows my join date, uploaded, downloaded etc....

But at the top, under my name it says "This account has been disabled"

Is this an error? Or a problem with your tracker?

Perhaps you could shed some light on this small shadow of mine.....

We're working on implementing a brand new tracker at the moment so that might have caused the issue. Once we get our new tracker in place (hopefully soon enough), you should be able to have a working account and start to download/upload.

Thanks, I had noticed various posts etc... though it will take time to read all of the more valued posts... bear with me

Though I seem to be able to upload the torrents fine at the moment, the clash just seemed a little odd...

The more of your posts I read on the more the thoughts are cleared up... though the backlog of posts is quite extensive.

That in mind, I can access the tracker and the torrent, I seeded "Grave of the Fireflies" today on your tracker and the initial seeding seems to be going well.

It seems that the torrents themselves are unaffected and that only the statistics gathering is affected.

Also the issue of being banned etc... must be somewhat of a bind...
I will be sure to post often that I am indeed active

I am confident in your abilities to correct the trackers statistics gathering and wish you the best of luck.

Untill then I shall continue to seed (as statistics do not concern me personally)

that's correct, the statistics are no longer gathered. If memory serves there were some reliability issues with the way they were collected; there were many complaints when people would loose gigabytes on their uploads stats because they stopped seeding improperly.
We haven't banned for leeching in like 18 months.

I greatly appreciate this thread as I too was wondering the same thing. Ive uploaded almost 10 gigs since I started and I like to look at my stats (don't ask me why I like to know how I'm doing I guess) but I noticed they never updated so its nice to know also I was wondering shouldn't this thread be moved to just the problems/errors section? Well anyway thanks again and I hope you guys are able to get the new tracker up and running soon

Possibly should be moved, though the original question refered to the main DE Torrent site stating that my account had been "banned", whereas it had not been....
