Request for a spam section

It could be cool to have one here to on this forum like some others.

We could put the spam section in General zone. Becose some members wants to talk about random things that can get them banned, so a spam section is a good ide.

Only if they type it in there and not in other threads.

Delta, could you make a spam section for the spammers in this forum?, every forum need some spamming.

I see plenty of spamming in the "general chat" section, and no bans....

I tend to agree with Holt, the General Chat board seems to be the place for spam. Indeed there is plenty of it.
The people who get banned are the ones that post ads, inapporiate material, (like porn), do lots of cross posting, and disrespect mods and/or others. I think the general section is moderated fairly lightly compared to the other sections.

I believe Shauna is the admin in charge of creating new sections on the forums.

What is it that you can't post in GC that you can post in a spam section?

GC's spammed enough as it is already.

If it would get you banned, it'll get you banned regardless of the forum it's put in. A spam board would not allow people to post things that would violate the rules on this forum.

you don't seem to under stand that spam section. this must be your first forum I gess. A Spam section is made for spam and keep the spam off from the other threads. so a spam section for those hwo want for example wants to use bad words or enything ells, put it in spam section. but untill that day comes, I keep spam in other section.

lots of forums got the spam sections, not this one? So i come up whit the ide. thats all

You're pointing to make "Rant and Raves" Section. Well,heavy moderation and monitoring will be implemented if that will happen. Depends of the approval of our Admins and our Head Mod. But i think that wont be necessary.

Personally, I'd be against a spam section, mostly because of the garbage that shows up in there. I'm not saying that all spam forums are bad, it's just that for the most part that they're useless. Now if there was a forum for forum games, that'd be another story...

I don't think a spam section is necessary. There are probably less than half a dozen active threads that are spammy. People just seem to chat between themselves on that.

Most others entertain themselves in irc. And no, this isn't my first forum. I have been threatened with a ban before for spamming ^^

Actually this is NOT my first forum. The point I was making was, you said "Becose some members wants to talk about random things that can get them banned, so a spam section is a good ide. " First of all, your spelling is about as good as a 5 year old, you may wish to work on that. Second, most people take a spamming board to be just as you said, a place where they can post racism, religion, advertising, insane amounts of swearing, and more.

We have enough trouble keeping that off the boards to begin with. A spam board would just make that worse. I would be steadfastly against any spam forum.
