Creating a Torrent...?

ok well i use azureus 2.5.0.0 i got the steps but i have a question about them..

1. File > New Torrent (or CTRL + N)

2. Tick “use an external tracker”.
And again, This is probably the hard part for most people. But it’s pretty easy, just put in one of the popular public trackers.

Here are some of the most popular trackers at the moment:

http://tracker.prq.to/announce
http://inferno.demonoid.com:3389/announce
http://tracker.bt-chat.com/announce
http://tracker.zerotracker.com:2710/announce

Put one of these in the tracker box

3. Select single file or dicectory, click NEXT and point to the file or directory you want to share, and click NEXT

4. Do NOT tick “private torrent”

5. Do tick “allow decentralized tracking”

6. Save the torrent and send it to your friends

Step 2 is my question, what would DaTorrents be? http://tracker.datorrents.com? or what? can somebody give me that information so i know how to make a torrent because im going to be offering some of the stuff i have and of course would like to share a.s.a.p when people want the stuff from my list

o and if i were to upload a video how would i create a .nfo file? forgot to mention that in the title..

Its in the upload page on the tracker.

As for the nfo file, its not necessary.

maybe thats cuz i dont have any friends to send it to O.o xD

actually you do not a need to send to..

After you upload a torrent, peer will download it..

I thought I would give you my 4 cents worth of advice.
First of all I left azureus for µtorrent (http://www.utorrent.com/) just as configurable as Azureus, but does not use as many of your system resources.
Creating a torrent is pretty much the same (file>create new torrent and then browse)
One thing to be aware of when down and uploading from a ratio tracker like this one: Disable DHT!
If you don't, the uploads via DHT will go past this tracker and you won't get any credit for it.
When you use windows XP and use big icons (with previews), XP will create a hidden file called "thumbs.db". Delete that file before making a torrent of a whole folder. That file can be changed and it's not the same torrent anymore.
