| Kittar Designer♪~ ![]() ![]() | General Rules Hello all =) Please read below for avatar and signature rules as we have noticed a distinct growing number of HUGE avatars and sigs. The MAXIMUM avatar size is: 150x150 No Porn/Nudity/etc. The group membership icons may not be used as avatars, especially those reserved for staff. Legitimate members of staff can be found at http://www.datorrents.com/forums/showgroups.php Examples: ![]() ![]() ![]() The MAXIMUM signature size is: 500x200 No Porn/Nudity/etc. Signatures may have ONE image with only 2 lines of text And please try not to make them a massive file size, saving something at a lower quality does not make them pixelated and ugly =) Any avatars and signatures not obeying the rules will receive a WARNING and be removed. How to upload and display your signature Once you've found the one you want, right-click the image from the thread and click "save image as" and store it on your hard drive. Then, click the "Quick Links" link at the upper-right portion of the Delta Anime Torrents webpage. From the drop down menu, click "Edit Signature". At this page, scroll down by the bottom and you'll see the box marked "Upload Signature Picture". Here, there are two fields; one for using a hyperlink to a picture from another website (or this one), and a second with the "Browse" button. Clicking the Browse button will bring up your Windows Explorer window. From here, just navigate your directory to locate the signature you stored earlier. Highlight it and click "Open". You'll see the picture's directory in the field as soon as you click "Open" - for example, the field would read C:\Windows\My Documents\My Pictures\Siggy01.jpg - from here, simply click the button at the bottom that says "Save Signature". The rest of the forum rules can be read here Cheers, ~The DaT staff team.

| No Life ![]() | Think before you post There have been a lot of posts deleted recently, mainly because people just want to up their post count. So, why was your post deleted? 1. It was spam. A post saying nothing but "Ninja'd" is not acceptable. Spam is not on topic. Spam is posting on a thread where someone is asking for help, and all you say is "sorry, can't help you" or "search GOOGLE". 2. It was not within the thread rules. I know people don't like to read all 400 pages of a thread, but would it really kill you to read the first post to find out the thread rules? 3. Flaming/inappropriate posts. Kind of speaks for itself. 4. Advertising spam. 5. In regards to #3, please know who you are gonna reply to. Learn how to use appropriate language so as not to offend anyone. And I wanted you to know these people. Not that we are bragging as having the authority, but we just need respect. These people are not paid to control the forums so in return just abide by the rules and respect everyone. The rules are here to stop the forum rolling out of control with the amount of pure spam being posted, and to allow everyone to enjoy DaT. And, if people really are that bothered about their post count, just contact me, and I would be glad to reset their counter back to 0. H. Last edited by prh99; 06-28-2009 at 06:52 PM. |
