^ Can I just say about the air traffic one above:

By law, all aircraft must be able to safely fly/land with only 50% power. In the case of the 4 engined 747, it can fly on only 2 of its engines safely enough. They also have 2 extinguishers in the engines in case of fire, so it sounds like they put it out.

This is the kind of story the media love to give only one side to readers. So don't believe all you read ;P
