| I've experienced that too... I thought it was just me that was wierd or something, but now when you tell me that you've experienced the same thing... It gets creepy... I wonder why it is so... and I have no ideas atm... Maybe should sleep a little and try to dream a running/punching dream... | |

| The Master Collector | Hmm...Sluggish Slow Motion Dreaming??? Only Time I had that happen to me while I was being swarmed by an nearly invincible enemy blasting away with a P-90..seeing the empty shells fall to the ground when I Switched to a M-16...everything would slow to almost a standstill....that usually would be when I ran out of ammo and had to switch to my sword.......and it slows when I charge the enemy....... Has anyone been killed while trying to run?? Getting shot in the back is not pleasant Well I have....only to wake up somewhere else in the dream..... But the only other time is trying to run on sand and end up in quicksand...getting sluggish and getting swallowed up by the ground..... It mainly only happens usually when I get shot in my dream......

| Beginner | i've never died in my dreams i was shot multiple times by gunmen while inside an elevator...felt sharp pain kinda like lots of little needles. fell to the ground but just kept getting up only to have them shoot at me again. i once read about "controlling dreams" a while ago, i think they call it "lucid dreaming" or something. but i can only ever recall having one once, but woke up pretty much as soon as i realised i was conscious in my own dream. damn it. apparently you can train yourself to be able manipulate your dreams... man, i'd be sleeping all day if i could do that. just a thought...may be that's what those people in comas are doing - that's why they're not waking up. |

| Has anyone here seen the movie "waking life"? It goes into this kind of thing, how do you control your dreams, do you dream in the moments before death, of so how do you know you are not seconds away from dying and are dreaming of the hours stretching out, etc. I would highly reccomend it. It also points out that you can never see exactly what time it is in dreams. I personally tend to wake up just as something shocking happens, and I 'jump' as I wake up. Either that or I wake up normally and remember that I dreamed, but I don't remember much about it. In fact maybe we can control our dreams, and we do, every night, and go flying over the south pole, but then forget when we wake up......... | |
