What becomes of us after death?

Now I dont want this to become a big aruement with everyone, and I dont want any religious tension bewteen people. I personaly dont have a true religon but I believe there has to be something more than science to explain life. I am just simply curious about what everyone thinks will happen when our life comes to a end?
Sorry if this may arouse and painful or otherwise unwanted thoughts.

Well the counter-argument I adhere to is, why does there have to be a point to it?

Or phrased differently, who says there is a point to it?

i think that you just go to somewhere else like heaven.(and i don't believe in god)Or just get a new life.

if you wanna really know what happens after death why wont you go and suicide you will know it rigth away.

People believe in life after death to alleviate their own fears. There is no practical basis for such a belief.

Personally, I think nothing happing is more likely than an after life.

Life after death... for me, there's no point in knowing if there IS anything after death since well... you're too dead to know/feel etc. Some people believe in reincarnation and whatnot, I on the other hand, will leave those beliefs alone. I really don't want to know what happens to me after I die, except for the fact that my body will decompose to dust and bones.
