| Help Monitor Im, looking to get a new monitor. Iv picked out three that i want, i do a lot of gaming and im not sure which one is better. | Special Member | hmmm...you can adjust the aspect ratio whether to be forced in applications or not...and it depends on your video card where to do that...so if you have a 1280 x 800 display(widescreen) and playing a 800 x 600 app, if you dont force to keep aspect ratio, the excess edges will be just black borders...so it's not that it doesnt support, it has to be configured. what i dont recommend is your choice of 20" screens...you can get 19" better and cheaper with not that much difference from a 20", plus a lot of 19" are widescreen too...good for movies, and good for games...esp if you playing fps, widescreen is cool... ![]() Last edited by vincent_10_27 : 07-11-2006 at 10:09 PM. |
