Do you visit datorrents' IRC channel? - Page 2

I wouldn't idle in the channel, the only time I've really ever idled in mirc was in five manga related channels. I now try to avoid certain people though, which is why I havn't opened my mail box on my mail account(s) for three weeks and going now...

I basically don't like live chats in messengers, and that is what irc is, just in a group format. I like forums though, gives me time to type without having six people reply between my rows, having nobody notice it at all or not replying since they think I'm not there anymore, which most often is true... So no I don't idle in any irc channel currently, just because I don't really like the irc chat format. Beside chatting there is only the servers I and other people host on irc, something I don't have to be on 24/7 for unless I decide to host 24/7, which I currently don't feel like...

since i am staff i need to idle there, previoulsy i only went to irc to dl from bots and then leave asap, most of the places that i visited there were not very welcoming so i abstained from hanging around there too much.
kinda like reminded me too much of aol general chats with a lot of plp asking a/s/l which can get boring and annoying at times.

You can use the ignore function, giggles-sama.

As for myself, I'm on there/idle 24/7. Even if I'm not staff for DaT, I would still idle there 24/7 since I have other commitments (manga and fansub groups). I chat sometimes but not all the time, only active when I actually sit down in front of the computer, talking with friends or when people need assisstance.

no, because my computer can't handle IRC's and takes 5 mins to transmit one message.
