Sitting with legs wide apart...something for the guys ;)

dear Men of Datorrents,

please give me an explaination of why you sit with your legs spread so wide apart as if you are growing 3 more legs between your already spread legs? i mean your "package isn't so huge that it deserves a seat of its own right?

so any candidates to tell me?

i should take out a measuring tape you know

measure the span of it...to be...close to 1.5 feet to 2 feet apart ^_^....

just thinking about it today because i was sitting in the subways and MAN do those guys know how to spread them!

the subway isn't exactly the best place to gather respectable opinion on male habits MH. You should know that. ****, if I were to gather my views on the female population on the freaks that sit beside me on the subway I think I might consider eternal abstinance.

Anyway, I personally don't think of how I sit when I sit or why I do it the way I do it when I do it. I try to find the most comfortable position I can, and if at the moment, that means spreading my legs, than it shall be. We can't pull off the whole "crossed legs" deal for obvious reason, those of you who can...god bless you. I usually kneel rather than sit though.

well, crossing it over is rather uncomfortable.

i usually sit with my ankle resting on my knee.

but its actually quite comfortable to sit with your legs wide open. when its.... uh ... legs are together, it kinda squishes it. besides that, there is also no ventilation ... so yea.

but if the guy is wearing shorts, short-shorts, then they should not do that. mostly to save the trouble of everyone in the room ... of going blind or what not.

ok maybe i shouldn't have narrowed it down to the subways, but then i did say that was what got my mind jogging. its not just the subways, when i was in high school i see it, when i was on the bus i see it, even at work i see it, so i think its more of a general overall statment on why do guys sit with there legs spread so wide

I sprad my legs because i'm proud to never wear skirts and i'm a damn bogan from the western suburbs of Sydney ;P.

But srsly, I don't spread them as wide as most men.. :x... I swear, they complain about being not so flexible when they can spread them wider than myself ;P;P;P;P;P

Lol! There's enough space to stand between them and whatnot, especially when the subway's crowded. It is a bit annoying when they take two or three seats, but if you just shove them, they usually won't say anything.
