The dark hair and olive skin of Southern Italians comes from mixing a European line with an African line. This happened thousands of years ago.

The English of today are a blend of every group that took over England, and that is quite a diverse bunch.

Many remote islands have a large dose of Dutch and other blood because of traders that stopped there, and sailors who were horny.

Why is all this possible? Because there is only one race involved, human.

Anyone that thinks they come from a "pure" sub set of this is only fooling themselves. This is easily shown.

In the history of any group the borders and divisions have changed. At the same time, so has the meaning of pure. So in truth, there is no absolute purity.

In the end, people will do as they please, and continue to delude themselves.

Every day someone is pushed or looked down upon for being different it simply proves how immature this one race, humans, is.

I think it will take many, many more generations before we even have a chance of that changing.

So to answer the original question, I say date who you want, but don't demand that I date someone specific. My sense of aesthetics and what I desire will determine my choices, as yours should you.

If you wish to mix race, or not, great, go for it. Just don't restrict my choice. That right is reserved for the persons I express an interest in.

I'm 50% muslim and 50% kristian... I'm not a pure blood.
But I can get marrid if i whant to, But not in a church. I'm cool whit that. Beside my parrents has now seperate becose of there religions...

I lives whit my grandmother, She is nice. I have deside to not be controled by eny religion, thats meen, no beliving. I'm like a half elf.

Sorry I'm a little late, but time to "throw my 2 cents in"....
As has been stated, marriages between people of very different ethnic backgrounds can present real problems for both sides, as they both have to change, sometimes quite a lot. I saw a documentary advertised made by a New Zealand couple, one NZ born the other Chinese, and the man had to learn to speak Mandarin before he was accepted at all by the other family.

However he managed, and it apparently turned into a very happy relationship.
However as well as the 'disadvantages', there are many good points to a 'mixed' marriage (other than purely genetic reasons). It can help bring two cultures together, and promote tolerance for each other. Just think, if thousands of Palistinians were to marry Israelis, how many people would be willing to fight a country where you have family?

As for people that say things like "Go live your gay loving, interracial hugging, and feminism-extremist life. I'm wasting my breath arguing with someone with a thick skull. You have been ignored.", well, my first response is to crack up laughing, as I just can't take them seriously. Now I am not pro-genocide, but a world without these people would be a much better place. Perhaps we need to educate them better. Untill them, just ignore them and let them live in their little daydream. Someday they may have to wake up to the fact that the world is made up of many types of people, a lot of whom don't give a **** about racist fucks like that (excuse my language).

swe crusader....it's a shame to hear that your parents split up because of religion. I can't imagine how hard it would be to be married to someone with completely different religious beliefs. Personally I agree, open minded athiest/agnostic is best.

I think this generation is actually more acceptable of marriage outside their own age. Of course, there are still many conservative people who will only marry whitin their own race. However, you have to realize that just because some people prefer to marry their own race does not mean that they are racist. It just so happens the individual is attracted to a certain type. But you're right about that chinese guy's quote. He does seem racist and whatnot. It's pointless to argue with someone like that, let him be.
