| Love Thread! Do you love someone, married, going out, engaged, have an infatuation, or having raging hormones? TALK ABOUT IT HERE It's not like your RL friends are on this forum (although, I won't talk about mine, because frankly, they are, not saying who, but you know who you are) | |

| Kittar Designer♪~ ![]() ![]() | Love is a common word thrown around in an inappripriate way all too often. All that agree say "I". All I can say on the subject of love is that, and it isn't possible to be in a proper "love" relationship at an early age, people confuse love and lust all too often, this just makes the word love almost meaningless. My Great Aunt has a pendant, which states "Ti amo piu di ieri, meno di domani", which translates to "I love you more than yesterday, less than tomorrow". Which is the only statement about love which has really caught my attention in my 19 years of living :P

Posts: 233 | I! I aggree whole heartedly. Love is something that is often said yet never understood. I've been in love once, and the only reason I know I was in love was because I'm still in love with that person. Even after their death. I have yet to find that second love, and I'm forever in the search for that love. I have come pretty close to that love, but not fully there yet. Of course, I'm also a teenager with the raging hormones. I have experienced lust. I have acted on this lust... great times. What was I talking about?

| it seems that eveyrone has the same kind of thinking when stating that the words "I love you" are being used much too often when the feeling that is being felt is lust. nothing wrong with lust but i always associate lust with kinda like an icht that you need to scratch. to me "i love you" means that even if the person drives you insane at times and makes you boiling mad, at the end of the day you look at them and a warm and peaceful feeling fills your heart and soul and you realize that this is the one for you. being married for close to 14 years, i still feel loved and the love i have for my hubby. strange but true, i believe this is due to the fact that my parents divorced at an early age and for me i was looking for a love that would only grow with time and not dissipate. we argue, fight, make up, etc just like any other couple but at the end of the day, it is him that i want to be next to when i go to sleep and when i wake up in the morning. lust was my first feeling for him and still is but i truly can say that i LOVE my hubby, faults and all. and he loves me with all my faults as well. ![]() that is my take on the subject. | No Life ![]() | I have been with my fiance for 5 years, with no wedding date in sight. We did have a bit of a fall out about a year ago, but I think that was due to me moving 300 miles away to the other end of the country. After realising how much I missed him (especially not being able to see him every day), we made up, and now have a house together. Both of us have chilled out mightily since then as we are living in a nicer area and both have stable, well paid jobs. When you take stress out of the equation, relationships are so much easier ![]() H. |

Posts: 1,078 | I. 'Tis true that is used too often, too soon, and too often is used to convey a different emotion, lust. In doing so, it does cheapen what the word means, however, there just aren't many ofthe right synonyms in the english language to convey what "I love you" means in such a concise statement.
