I writing this because of some dumb thing i seen people do.
1 The other day at the gas station , I saw a man pull up to the pump get out of his mini van . And watch it roll down the drive into a tree HELLO HAVE YOU HEARD OF PARKING BRAKE????
2 I watch a lady talking on cell phone drive her truck right into a light post.

This might not be on topic but this person was an idiot. I think the mods will find it funny.

the guys at work today saw a dumb thing ,done by one of their fellow worker.
yes it was me , was walking under a truck and thought i was clear of it . and stood up only to be knock to the ground by the rear bumper..
it was a real dua move, and yes it did hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One time I went to the store to pick up some cigs, and as I was walking out, there was a woman parked by the front of the store next to my car. I walked in fromt of her car to get to mine and as I walked past I noticed her car move slightly forward, after i got past the car I turned around just in time to see her car hit the wall of the store. Luckily it was from park so she couldn't have been going more than 3mph, but if I had taken any longer to get past I probably would have been squished between her car and the wall. Plus it looked like she had been reaching down into her car for something at the time she hit the wall.
(btw, I appologize for any rambling or misspelled words, I got foot surgury yesterday and the pain pills are pretty strong.)

I work as a comp. tech. and I have seen many motherboards that people mounted without standoffs. Generally this kills the motherboard, and sometimes other parts as well.

Just the other day one guy brought in a CPU to have it tested. His heatsink fan had stopped working, so he took the whole heatsink off, and ran it that way. It ran for about 30 seconds and shut off. Since it stopped turning on at all he wanted to see if we could get the CPU running again.

Now he has to upgrade his old Socket A machine because he just roasted the CPU when all he really needed to do in the first place was replace the fan!

Computer was brought in with DVD drive jammed. After some work, I got it open to find a floppy inside. Owner said, "So that is where my report for work went to." Turns out his kids had decided to help out and put the floppy disk into the DVD. When it would not close right, they pounded the drive shut.

Had someone try to return a wireless router as defective because in the three months they tried to use it they never got the internet. When we asked what provider they had there was some confusion and conversation.

Turns out that when she was using broadband somewhere else, she found out this was because that place had a wireless router. So she bought a wireless router because she thought it would give her broadband. She does not have broadband of any type to hook the router up with.

What is worse, the original sales person went over the diagram on the box with her, told her she needed something like DSL, and tried to sell her some cables to go with it. She refused all this stating that she knew what she was doing and that the router was all she needed. . . .

Well once I was telling people the same thing the guy above me did... but no one understood me... stupid stupid people ^_^

One time.. I read this post, and people were bragging about smoking, when they could have entierly finished their whole story withot the "to pick up some cigs." It's not cool to smoke </3.
