Why you chose your name?

I'm certain i've explained this before but my screen name could be derived from multiple things.
My answer varies on who i'm taking to, cause some people might think i'm crazy but whatever.

The most common assumption is that my name is from the faerie queen Mab from Shakespearean literature, specifically Romeo & Juliet.
Howeer, my case is a bit different.
In Faerie lore, the Faerie queen of the winter court is named Mab, and the Faerie queen of the summer court is named, gah, i can't remember, but whatever. Mab's counterpart is Medb, also the name of some warrior queen or something >.< (It's been a while, shutup lol)
I happen to have an obsession with faeries and ended up researching every bit of information i could find about them.
After so much research i started having reoccurring dreams of an entire faerie world, complete with said faerie queen, Mab and her now elder sister, Medb.

So, in the end, i just started using the screename Mab_Fairy, online, later turned into Mab Faerie as a reference towards the folklore. And occasionally Mab_Faerie_Queen or Mab_Queen_Of_Fae.

Then, about 2 years ago, when i first started dating my current sweetheart, it turned out that his sister shared the same first name as me, so when then decided to go by nicknames to avoid confusion. She chose Sketch, i chose Mab.

So, even in rl, i've been Mab for ages. ^.^

I love Megaman (aka Rockman) X games and I decided to pick a name from there. However, usually all the best known names are taken so I had to choose a less known one. Signas, that is.
"D" used to stand as "Dark" because "DarkSignas" doesn't sound all that good and it is kind of long. But now, the "D" is there just to give extra coolness or something along those lines.

My name came to mind when i joined a game call Endless Online. I was a big .hack// fan and wanted to be Tsukasa, but that name was taken so instead I name my character Tsukae and it has stuck ever since.

My name D4rkLigh7, or DarkLight when its translated is just something that I came up with about 4 years ago. I like the contradicting combination of dark and light because there does not exist such a thing. Then I just replaced two of the letters with number in the 1337 language, which is 4 = a and 7 = t.

obviously I'm not Japanese, but if I'm recalling correctly, the characters used to write names also have other meanings, kinda of like the Hebrew translations of names in the States. (Mine means "beloved guardian" if translated)

If you don't mind, What does yours translate to?
