I use a laptop thats only got 512MB of memory, so found azureus used too much memory and lagged the thing.

I've never used bitcomet, but I've seen a few torrent sites have banned it recently cause of a hacked version floating round.

I use Bittornado, http://www.bittornado.com/ , cause I find it better than the original client and it has a couple of useful features. You can cap your up and download with this thing, and it also has an auto upload feature, which in my experience is very buggy.

Worth a look though ^^

Bitcomet is good like azureus, but it didn't have super-seed mode ... i know only Azureus and Bittornado to have it ... it's quite usefull for new upload torrents and re-seed of not full 100% parts online torrents ...

I use the 3 softwares ; my choice of the moment depends of what i want do on a single torrent

I've had many troubles with Azureus lately, including many things not working anymore and the client bugging whenever the computer would crash (won't be happening to me for a long time though now) or be shut down because of an electricity cutting.
I'd suggest you to use BitTorment, which is a really good client as far as I remember (too bad GTSDLL doesn't support it ).

yeah, since azureus went to the latest version, its been really buggy. Plus there's some trackers banning it because of the new features that don't make having a tracker 100% necessary.

I use bittornado. I don't have the best machine on the planet, but I can run up to 4 tornado windows at a time behind games, video etc without my games or video playback suffering. I really love the superseed mode on it too...really helps force people to share on new things *grin*

I use the last version of azureus, i don't have any bugs yet ... maybe it's because i have uncheck all the decentralized stuff in the configuration and plug-in ... i don't use it, not so usefull for me ...

If I am reading this thread correctly it sounds like registering with tracker sites is the only real way that the sites can accurately keep track of ratios, which I agree with. I am registered with six torrent sites and hope that is enough. BTW I use azureus (memory hog that it is lol) and luckily usually have no problems. I heartily support banning leechers because they slow the sharing for the rest of us who want to participate. One question tho, we can't ALWAYS stay online 24/7 so as long as we seed when we are online is that considered ok?

Well, as long as you have a decent ratio, then I don't see why not.
