| RevanFlame's pet | I use a laptop thats only got 512MB of memory, so found azureus used too much memory and lagged the thing. I've never used bitcomet, but I've seen a few torrent sites have banned it recently cause of a hacked version floating round. I use Bittornado, http://www.bittornado.com/ , cause I find it better than the original client and it has a couple of useful features. You can cap your up and download with this thing, and it also has an auto upload feature, which in my experience is very buggy. Worth a look though ^^ H. |

I'd suggest you to use BitTorment, which is a really good client as far as I remember (too bad GTSDLL doesn't support it ). | ||

| yeah, since azureus went to the latest version, its been really buggy. Plus there's some trackers banning it because of the new features that don't make having a tracker 100% necessary. I use bittornado. I don't have the best machine on the planet, but I can run up to 4 tornado windows at a time behind games, video etc without my games or video playback suffering. I really love the superseed mode on it too...really helps force people to share on new things *grin* | |

| Beginner | If I am reading this thread correctly it sounds like registering with tracker sites is the only real way that the sites can accurately keep track of ratios, which I agree with. I am registered with six torrent sites and hope that is enough. BTW I use azureus (memory hog that it is lol) and luckily usually have no problems. I heartily support banning leechers because they slow the sharing for the rest of us who want to participate. One question tho, we can't ALWAYS stay online 24/7 so as long as we seed when we are online is that considered ok? |
