mmark, I had a look at the hand maid may torrent today, and there was noone with a bad ratio. It just seems that some of the other people on that torrent are heavily capping their uploads. Plus, there are no seeders there, so you could be stuck with an incomplete file til someone jumps back on with a full copy.

When we ban, we do not ban entire torrents. So far we have been looking at each individual torrent, then banning people who are blatantly taking and not giving back.

And as to your upload question, you should put that in the upload section of the forum

Reason for banning: Leecher: 464.34 MB/ 2.83 GB Ratio: 0.16 and starting to get hash errors on evangelion I ocassionly stop a torrent to seed another I'm seeding OnetaiTeacher and Twins and and Mahoromantic. My seeding always take's first priority. So if a persons share ratio gets less than 1:1 there banned? Is there no way to keep track of ips for more than just on session?

I found the ban you're referring to. are you registered with the tracker? the ban is for a numbered IP address, the same ip address that you posted from just above. if you register with the tracker, all of your transfer will be counted, and we will be able to look at all of your transfers with one another, not just on a torrent per torrent basis as we have to when you're not registered. Even if you are seeding one file, all we see when you aren't logged in is your performance on each individual torrent, and from the LPO point of view, you were leeching the hell out of that particular torrent. (NOTE: it was not me who banned you)

I know on that particular torrent evangion went to bed last night with it Down at 23 and up at 22 woke up this morning and down was 140's up was 15 not my fault if some one with high bandwith dumped on me I appreciate it in a way after waiting week for the file but I feel that kicking is not the answer to the problem maybe having registration first is the key they do that at few sites know.

if you had a client like azureus or bittornado, or some other clients you would be able to cap your download speed to match your upload speed. that way, you won't get "fast people dumping on you". that's really no excuse for leeching.

I have azureus. My bandwidth is 150kbs/38.4 kbs had 3 seeds running ocassional leech hits 2 leechs hand maid and evangelion big files at the least a week or more to get at my speed. The problem with azureus is I had the botom caps on the lower left side set and not the torrents themselves. so the cap didnt work will have leave a bug report on this version its only 7days old. not much i can do about it know except restart azureus and change my ip cap the torrents themselves. sorry about the others dumping on me /Not

I've reset all and am back put down at 20 up at 35 turned off evangelion left my seeds running. Hope it pleases someone. I known this not the place but could someone reseed hand maid there are 8 of us we should all be at 75% buy monday I will gladly reseed it for the next couple weeks although band width is tite Please

resetting to evade a ban is not cool. sign up for the tracker, its the easiest way to avoid this kind of banning in the future. (next time you leech, get banned and reset to evade a ban, your whole provider could be banned, just a warning)
