For thos who live the US are happy with are new (upcoming) president? (Obama)

my question is, are you happy with Obama?

Very happy. If McCain had won, I probably would have moved to Canada or something.

I think Obama's a bit more suitable for office. McCain would have been the oldest president we ever had and along with his health problems it would be questionable if he would last long as our president. (Sounds a bit morbid I know, but hey it's true) If so, we would then be stuck with Palin as the president and to me.. she just seems ridiculous >_< So I am quite glad that Obama will become the new president. Hopefully he can turn this country around for the better.

Even though I'm Canadian, I was rooting for Obama the whole time. To me, he represents not only as the first black American president in US history, but also a sign of good things to come. Granted, he won't be able to correct all the mess-ups overnight, but I think he can bring the US back on its feet, then the rest of the world will fare better as well.

Its kind of hard to be happy with somebody or not if they havnt taken power, or caused any posative or Negative change.
