| Beginner ![]() | There really should be a "we'll see" option. Right now I see Obama pulling for political points but not really doing anything. Not that it's a negative thing, modern day government is based purely around what someone will say to increase only their appearance in the eyes of the american people. So at the moment I'm sitting back and waiting for something to actually happen. My fingers are crossed, but on a level I guess I don't really care... In fact, ignore my previous statement. My vote is "I don't care". |

| Experienced ![]() | I really hate when people say that democrats have been in control since 06. Last time I cheek it was 49 republicans 49 democrats and two independents in the senate that really not that big of a majority even through the two independent caucus with the dems that still not that big. The house margins I believe where 233 dems to 202 rep and I have to pose this question do you agree with all that your party stands for down to the last line? Just because you affiliate yourself with a party does not mean you are automatically going to vote a certain way. As for Obama just give the man a chance see what he will do and then judge him. You wouldn't want someone judging you so quickly would you? |

| Beginner ![]() | Obama didnt run for some high school popularity contest. The idea that he shouldnt be judged is like saying "Presidents shouldnt be judged and critiqued until AFTER their presidency." Its not a simple I think hes tacky judging, its a "is this man capable of leading our country?" judgment. It's perfectly reasonable to judge this man. Not that it really matters though...

| Beginner ![]() | Tax and spend, empty suit of the democratic party. He has no plan, just the typical liberal "throw money we do not have at the problem" plan. Most comments here posting they like him obviously do not know history or lived through the 70s and the exact same thing happened. Obama is nothing more than Jimmy Carter with a palate swap. |

| I do like Obama but, I do not believe that he is going to do anything ground breaking beyond being the first minority president. He isn't able to rally the DEM's into one unifying group. Despite what you may want to say about Republicans, you do have to give it to them for being unified. Unlike the Dem's who are too much on individualism, and end up destorying simple bills that you would think they should be able to pass easily , with them having the MAJORITY in the house and the senate, AND having the D@#% president as a DEM . Really how lame does that make us DEM'S, come on OBAMA, do something butt kicking while you still have the powe r!! |

| Beginner ![]() | Obama spews the very communist ideology that Joseph McCarthy was trying to protect the country from. If you have doubts, just read Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto. It's Obama's play book. I am not part of the masses, I am an individual, I can take care of myself and I do not want help, from any person, charity, or government. I know what is best to live my life as I choose. I do not judge others, and I do not want others who judge me to force me to live by their concepts of morality. My morality is simple - Be self sufficient, be self reliant, work hard and achieve goals, do not judge others, live and let live, care for others only when such care is not deemed to be an intrusion. Here are words to be inspired by: Youtube video of Charles Chaplin's speech at the conclusion of "The Great Dictator" (1940) |
