I have to agree.. desktops are better. The only laptop I have ever owned has had more computer problems than my entire family's slew of computers (about 5) in less than half the time. I've only had it 2 years. It isn't a brand-name computer, either. It was built from scratch.

My boyfriend had a laptop when he was in college and it died nearly once a year.

Computers just aren't portable. Laptops make them smaller so that you can carry them around, but are still as fragile as a desktop, so you end up with lots of problems and a lower life expectancy with them if you do take them around a lot.

Rant over.

I have to say, they are more convenient for students though. Which is the only reason I have one now.

Thank guys that really kind of you, but in the end I'm suffering for it!! The Teachers want me to come to school during my summer break because "I should improve on my skill even more" and even worse my parents are up to it!!! Help me!!
