fourth has its ups and downs, the biggest problem with it is with the way the wote the powers down. In my group we came across a point were someone died in the party after using a power. the way it is written it would stay active till the end of the combat.

I haven't done pen and paper D&D in forever.. I used to GM an irc D&D on deltaanime a couple years back.. last 'true' irc D&D game I was in disbanded about 6 months ago.. these days I do other dice rpgs on irc networks.

^ I played D&D for about 4 years or so... then everyone I played with moved away... so that kinda ended that one of my friends now did want to play but he to lazy to learn how to. I stick with wargames now.

I used to play D&D, though finding people to play with wasn't easy. So my group ended awhile ago.

I played Ultima for awhile at a library, and some table top games we invented for the sake of seeing how it goes.

Though I remember someone createing a monster hm....

a few friends and i started playing d&d again with the new rules and books. I actually like much better than the old d&d rules, its more free form which is always good in my book.

ive played d&d since i was about 16, and stopped somewhere around half a year ago. my cousin was the gm, and compared to others ive played with in the past, he was definitely the most difficult ive ever played against (yes i consider all gm's my enemy lol). i can honestly say ive never made it through any one of his campaigns. in the beginning, i would generally just roll up something to compliment the other people in the party, but after numerous defeats, i started coming up with impressive character concepts. those were the days... my crowning achievement was creating a samurai/iajutsu master who was so offensive (and had a huge amount of hp) that he had no need for armor (can you imagine a lvl 20 front line melee character with only 21 ac?.. now thats gangsta!). anyways, my cousin likes splitting up the group to test individual characters from time to time, and he had a "tricked out" pitfiend issue a one on one duel with my character (being a samurai, i couldnt refuse). solo'ed the pitfiend, and with his dying breath, blew up my home/geisha house lol... ahh those were good times indeed.
