Hello Everyone,

This is to inform you that we're currently in the midst of launching our new tracker!

In this post you'll be able to find the following information:

Status of the import/move
Current bugs
- New
- Old
- Fixed
Pending Features

Status

Currently as of 9:30 PM PST 2008-03-22 the import is taking place. At this point all data is being imported over to the new database so there will be almost no data lost.

UPDATE #1

As of 10:05 PM PST 2008-03-22 the site has been put ONLINE! Go check it out everyone!

We're currently working on bringing the tracker it self online.

UPDATE #2

Site taken offline to address a bug with the backend tracker. It seems part of the import broke. I'm testing this now

UPDATE #3

Currently I have a script running now that is re-importing all infohashes from all torrents on the site. It seems between our two code bases I forgot that we had changed how we stored them -- woops. Either way, it's burning away. Torrents will report as online slowly as it all continues along. I'll post an update once this script is complete and I see torrents running just fine.

Tracking is now back online, and the tracker is serving away

Bugs

Info hashes display weird. - annoying bug
avatars aren't being constained to 150px by 150px - annoying bug
When registering, when you don't put in the captcha, it isn't saving the rest of the information on the page - enhancement
On the torrent details page, the edit/delete/download buttons are rendering weird on IE 6/7.

Pending Features

Torrent comment editing for users. Editing will be restricted to 1 hour, mainly for grammar/spelling corrections.
Ability to write guides for torrents. Useful for games/etc that are very annoying to install/run/etc.

I would like to thank all of the staff that has worked hard to help us code and debug this new tracker! We've put in countless man hours making sure it puts the old site to shame in every way possible!

While waiting for the new site to go live, we ask that you sign up for our forums and either post in this thread, the rest of the forums or visit our ever changing gallery!

not sure if the tracker will accept Unicode Filename and Titles...

Nice work and all, do i have to register newly on it, since i cant aces the main page and torrents, only gallery and forum....

I've added a check for the people with old bookmarks and links to the old download links.

There should be no need for anyone to need to update their download links. With that being said, we do recommend you update your bookmarks.

I was hoping that the new tracker would have separate RSS feeds for each category and not just one RSS feed for all torrents... I was under the impression that that was the way it was going to be implemented. Is it still going to be implemented that way in the future?
