This thread will allow you, the user, to provide feedback on bugs/usability issues and all around things that could be done better on our new tracker.

Known Issues

Issues listed here are already known to the staff and are being addressed already.

• Long torrent names are making the browse page not display 100% correct. Same thing happens when viewing a torrent, forcing the buttons in the top right to wrap around.
• The torrent request system is incomplete. The current system is very poorly designed and is being redone. Please ignore the fact the pages look like dogs breakfast.
• Browse page is only showing 5 torrents page page. This is simply to help us make sure the paging functions are working. When the tracker goes public, this will change to at least 20 per page.
• Edit Torrent is also poorly formatted. This page is being worked on and for the time being be ignored.
• When not logged into the tracker, the top banner is repeating and almost looked stretched weird. Possibly a missplaced <br />?
• Anime Group Homepage
  • Bugs
    • there is no way to properly upload yet.
    • There is no way to edit/delete news yet.
  • Addons
    • Should we have a full CMS system here for groups so they can create all the information pages they like? Input?

Wish list

Idea's from the staff/users will be listed here for post public beta inclusion (if decided it should be).

• Ability to favorite users and view the torrents they have uploaded.

• Usage Guides
  • We've been getting a lot of reports of users not being able to get certain games working and all around could use a helping hand. We currently have a guide system being created to allow people to write up guides for using their game releases, amongst other things.
  • Should we do this on a per torrent basis? or doing it based on the category is OK? (eg. just have a general area for all 'h-games' for instance).

Add a confirm email input box in the registration form, like you do for the password.

I know I sometimes mistype my email address, and this would help reduce the chance :P

Also, maybe having it auto-check email validation (blahblah@blah.com <- having all three "fields"/"sections" needed, and only allow real TLDs) before sending the form (kinda like how IPB 2.x auto checks it).

Wouldn't accept the " - " in Furi-Yuri so I couldn't register that user name, I had to use FlameBait like I am registered on the old tracker.

In torrent display page, minor suggestion : shade the report torrent to a light red, and download torrent to a light green, so that they stand out just a little bit and are a bit easier to find for people with vision problems :P

All things are temp right now until things go fully public. When that happens we'll be importing the current tracker in place

Ability to add users to a list of "favorites" and view said favorite list, and and have a nice spiffy list of all the torrents upped by the people in that favorites list, with the cool scrolly effect in the other pages :P

We now have the ability to give anime groups
their own little homepage on DATorrents

As you can see, you get a homepage similar to DAT, but with only your groups torrents and your own news!

We're still expanding some idea's, but this is looking good

I've decided to expand the anime group pages some more

- Spot for donation links (HTML/JS code)
- Ability to adjust DAT ads to either: Not show, show ours, or show your own ads Allowing groups to make extra money them selves to support DVD purchases, etc.

Any anime group wishing for a tour/demo of the current anime group system, please drop ichigo a PM.

Otogi Zoshi is a torrent i up loaded .
its not showing all downloading, tracker is saying two but Bit tornado is saying 12.
This maybe one of those bugs.
just letting you know.

Hm, are you sure that it wasen't simply getting the peers from the DHT pool?

We have a good few other torrents all with full peer lists so i'm not sure what to say.
