I assume you mean these forums?, in that case its probally excessive security settings effecting the cookies, or AV software/firewalls in paranoid mode. Your computer deleteing or blocking the cookies is about the only thing that would cause you to get logged off all the time.

I have found that the "next" button does not function at any time on the search page. If the "2" button is pressed, the only buttons that are visible are "1", "2", "9" and "10". The button selection does not show "3" or any of the numbers one would expect. The only way I view all the pages is to go to the last page on the list, then select the "previous" button. The button numbers then go up in sequence showing all the in-between pages.
On another note I have uploaded a torrent but even though my client shows a couple of users downloading the file nothing is showing up on the tracker. It is showing that I am seeding which is positive. May be I have incorrectly formatted the torrent that prevents the tracker from seeing the download clients. What settings are required for the tracker to show leechers and completions?
Thank you for your time and efforts in getting things going.

I hate to say it, but i have noticed the same issue with the next button.. the pages look like 1 2 .. 2 (showing what page your looking at) .. 10 11... Have to do the same thing, click 10 and click previous to go back so as to look at the rest of the pages.. I will say Cheers on the new tracker though.. looks like it is working out so far..

Hi,
Can the uploaded torrent name and the Display Title of the torrent support Unicode other than in English?

I'll look into the prev/next buttons to see if there is a logic error on my part in something.

You should be able to upload things in unicode/UTF8, I would say give it a shot and report back.

At this time i've not had any torrents to test with.

After getting side tracked a lot the hope is that i'll be able to continue with the tracker upgrades this weekend and possibly into fully replacing what we currently have (public beta).

Thanks,

~Francisco

My cookies are accepted so there's not the problem. I have noticed that it is not the 'submit reply' but the 'preview post' that's not working properly.
And indeed the 'next' button doesn't work on the browse page the 'previous' button works now. I am using Firefox.

But this site is much better then the old one, very good work.

The beta local tracker seems to have been unconnectable for the past few days?...

I'm aware that recently the tracker has been consistently shutting down for unknown reasons, usually its high load and mysql refusing connections, but this doesn't seem the case this time, i'll have to try debugging, but even the beta tracker does a huge amount of query's per minute.

I have a couple of suggestions:

- Make it possible to browse categories (like on the "old" version) instead of the whole torrent-database. It's confusing, if you only want to browse games and you have to browse through every torrent. Then make the tracker sort the torrents, so only e.g. games are shown.

- Import the entire current torrent-database. If you're gonna start from scratch, you're gonna loose a lot of good and active stuff. It shouldn't be impossible to import the database, or is it? (I won't hope)

- (Maybe too hard (or impossible) to make, but it's only a suggestion of course): Make the theme user-changeable. For example, make it possible for the community to design custom designs for the tracker - like www.anidb.info has done for instance.

- An addition to the categories: Make it possible for the uploaders to mark torrents: "Dual Audio". That way, it'll be easy to browse torrents with dual audio only, if that's what you desire.

- Webcrawler? You could build-in a webcrawler searching the net for external anime and jap-game torrents. That way, we'll have a huge collection of different stuff. I'm just thinking - is it possible for the webcrawler to sort the stuff in the right categories?

That is my wish list for now..
Other than that: Well done to the developers and owners of Datorrents! I'd say it's the best anime-torrentsite on the net.

Best wishes,
llonell.
