BREIN on a warpath...

As if Demonoid falling wasn't bad enough, BREIN, the infamous Dutch anti-piracy group, seems to have gone on a warpath against some of the bigger torrent sites, by ordering their ISP, LeaseWeb, to take them down. However as it stands, even though forced to comply to BREIN, LeaseWeb has appealed and is going to give it a fight, to highest court if need be...by LeaseWeb;

*whew* Not just Demonoid, anymore, huh? ... Never heard of BREIN before, but it is already clear that it must be an organization dedicated wholly to the cause of Darkness. *shudder*

Well, we've got to remember that p2p is a privilge, and not a right. The sites being targetted are distributing licensed material, and hence costing companies money.

Saying that though, the more sites are shut down, the more people will fight back and find other ways to distribute material.

There maybe a little karma coming for BREIN (as well as exposure of some hypocrisy on their part).

Yep, and TF also rightfully mentioned that documentary showing the hypocrisy of the MPAA. This is why I am very confident in what I do via P2P because these so-called "law enforcers" take their own illegal measures to try and get people like me. These anti-piracy organizations do NOT "practice what they preach".
